I did this for a World War II memorial we had in english class after reading Night by Elie Wiesel. It concerns the last line where he talks about looking in the mirror and seeing himself as a corpse and that the face always stayed with him and here it's some time in the future and he still is seeing himself as that corpse. It probably makes more sense if you read the book, which i highly recomend cause its really awesome and a good short read.

We just got finished with the book in english today. It was such a sad read, I almost burst into tears at this last line....lovely picture to go with it, good job.

We read it too in my English class, unfortunately we did one of those audio tapes, the narrator BUTCHERED the story even more than Hitler butchered the Jewish, for example, he was over dramatic, "And then they HUNG the POOR LITTLE PIPEL, and...WHERE IS GOD OMFG WHERE IS HE?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?" Catch my drift? It was a good story butchered by this asshole

I have read the book, and I identified the moment your picture refers to as soon as I saw it.

Very well done, really :)

Same here, I saw the drawing and knew what part of the book you were illustrating. This book was a great read as well, most definitely.
